My Pictures My Past

The inspiration for this project came from watching a documentary about Geraldine Cox, the extraordinary Australian woman behind the Sunrise Villages. Incredibly, I discovered she was in Australia that week for a signing session of her book Home Is Where The Heart Is, and that is where we first met.

I asked her about the children and if she had any drawings they had made, as I wanted to do a portrait series about the kids accompanied with colourful drawings.
